Emarcy and Universal Jazz Artists Among Winners at Echo Jazz Awards

For the first time the German Music Academy (Deutsche Phono-Akademie) will present the prestigious ECHO JAZZ Awards at the beginning of May 2010 in Bochum. The awards have been selected by a jury consisting of record industry executives, journalists and live promoters. The winners within the Universal Music family, they are:

Male singer of the year / international: Curtis Stigers with "Lost In Dreams" (Concord / Universal)

Female singer of the year / international: Melody Gardot with "My One And Only Thrill (Decca / Universal)
