Roberta Gambarini and Dave Holland among JJA Jazz Awards Winners

The winners for this year’s Jazz Journalists Association awards have been announced and include several Emarcy artists who won in the top categories.

These included acclaimed female singer Roberta Gambarini, world renowned male jazz singer Kurt Elling (Concord Records) and the foremost jazz bassist in the world today, Dave Holland.

The winners were chosen by 60 professional writers from the JJA which is a non-profit corporation, promoting the interests of writers, photographers, broadcasters and new media professionals covering jazz.
